Spring in Pastels FTU

Spring in Pastels

I used the wonderful poser called Josie by Designs by Norella which you must be licensed to use. You can purchase her tubes from PicsForDesign which can now be found here
I am using a scrapkit called Pastel Explosion by Scraps by Pam which is FTU and can be found here

The tut was written in Paint Shop Pro X4 but should work in others.

Note When I resize I use these settings: (make sure that pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers is unchecked) also please save often and for placement on the tag you can always refer to the example tag if that helps.

Let's get started!!


Open a new image 800 X 800 pixels with a transparent background.  You can resize later to meet your needs.
Copy & paste paper 5 from the scrapkit onto your new image resize by 144%  and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load) In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer merge merge group.
Open flower1 and copy & paste to your image duplicate x1 and move 1 to the top of your mask slightly to the left of the middle and 1 slightly to the right of the middle
Open  flower4 and copy & paste to your image and place it at the top of your mask between the blue flowers
Open heart3 and copy & paste to your image and place next to the right blue flower covering most of half of the flower
Open  heart1 and copy & paste to your image and place over the top of heart3
 Open frame5 and copy & paste to your image take your magic wand using the following settings

 and click inside of your frame you made expand your selections with the following setting 

Open paper8 and copy & paste to your image and hit selections invert delete move this layer under your frame Open your tube of choice copy and paste to your image flip horizontal and place the part of your tube you want to keep in the marching ants and hit selections invert delete move this layer under your frame go to selection select none 
Go to your tube layer and make the following changes

Open rainbow copy & paste ot your image and place it in the lower right of your frame move this layer under your frame layer
Open glass copy & paste to your image and place it on the left side of your frame
Open flower5 copy & paste to your image and place it on the right side of your frame 
Go to layers and merge visible all layers  
Go to effects xero porcelain and apply with the following settings

Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 20%) and place it on the left side on the of your  frame  Add a dropshadow of choice (I used vert5 horiz4 opacity50 blur2 color black)
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

The Lady Waits PTU

Open a new image 800 X 800 pixels with a transparent background.  You can resize later to meet your needs.
Copy & paste paper 11 from the scrapkit onto your new image  and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load) In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer merge merge group.
Open element 97 and copy & paste to your image and place at the top of your mask in the middle
Open  element 58 and copy & paste to your image and place it at the middle left of your mask
Open  element 64 and copy & paste to your image and place it across the bottom of your image
Open  element 41 and copy & paste to your image and place them in a circle at the top right of your mask 
Open  element 48 and copy & paste to your image and place it on the left side of your fan
Open  element 22 and copy & paste to your image and place so that the top of the glass is covering the bottom of element 58 
Open  element 44 and copy & paste to your image  
Open  element 60 and copy & paste to your image  and place it at the bottom of your image on the right
Open  element 84 and copy & paste to your image  and place on the right side of your mask in the middle
Open  element 44 and copy & paste to your image and place it next to your glass
Open  element 51 and copy & paste to your image and place it in the bottom left of your image
Open element 86  copy &  paste to your image
Open element 1 copy & paste to your image and place it so that it starts in the corner of the present
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 30%) and place it on the right bottom side on the image
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Easter is Coming FTU

Open frame5 copy & paste to your image take your magic wand using the following settings

 and click inside of your frame expand your selections with the following setting

Open paper 8 copy and paste to your image  and hit selections invert delete move this layer under your frame do not deselect
Open your tube of choice copy & paste it to your image resize if need ( I resized 73%) and move it so that the part of the tube you wish to keep is situated in the frame opening them hit delete go to selection select none go to effects   xero porcelain and apply with the following settings


Open frame2 copy & paste to your image  take your magic wand using the following settings (see above) and click inside of your frame expand your selections with the following setting (see above)
Open paper 8 copy and paste to your image  and hit selections invert delete move this layer under your frame do not deselect
Open your tube of choice copy & paste it to your image resize if need ( I resized 65%) flip horizontal and move it so that the part of the tube you wish to keep is situated in the frame opening them hit delete go to selection select none go to effects xero soft vignette and apply with the following settings

Open FranipaniHibiscusbunch and copy & paste to your image resize by 24% and place in the middle of your 2 frames where they meet
Open lilly copy & paste to your image and place it on the bottom right of your mask
Open easter train copy & paste to your image and place it across the bottom of your mask
Open balloon2 copy & paste to your image resize by 37% and place it just below your square picture frame
Open balloon1 copy & paste to your image resize by 37% and go to image free rotate and use the following settings

Place it on the left of balloon2
Open balloon3 copy & paste to your image resize by 37% and go to image free rotate and use the following settings except change the direction to right 
Place it on the right of balloon2
Open button3 copy & paste to image resize by 46% and place in the center of the strings on the balloons
Open doubledelightbow1 copy & paste to your image resize by 32% and place it on the round frame just below the flowers
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 20%) and place it on the right  side of your frame  
Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube and frames (I used horz 4 vert 3 opacity 45 blur 20)
Open bunnywithegg1 copy & paste to your image and place beside your tube

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Ready for Spring FTU

Open flower4 and copy & paste to your image and place it in the right bottom corner of your mask
Open  sunglasses and copy & paste to your image  and place it in the middle bottom of your mask
Open  flower6  and copy & paste to your image and place it on the right just below the middle of your mask
Open  radio and copy & paste to your image  and place it in the right bottom of your mask
Open flower3 and copy & paste to your image  and place it on the top left of your mask
Open frame and copy & paste to your image take your magic wand using the following settings

 and click inside of your frame expand your selections with the following setting 

 Open paper4 copy & paste to your image  hit selections invert delete move this layer under your frame Open your tube of choice copy and paste to your image  resize as needed (I resized 79%) and place the part of your tube you want to keep in the marching ants and hit delete move this layer under your frame go to selection select none  Go to xero soft vignette and apply the following setting to your tube layer 

Open  flower and copy & paste to your image  and place it on the left bottom side of  your frame 
Open  drink and copy & paste to your image and place it in the left bottom side of your mask  
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed  and place it on the left side on the of your  frame Add a dropshadow of choice if you want
Open butterfly 2 copy & paste to  your image resize by 45% and place it in the top right corner of your mask
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

 and click inside of your frame expand your selections with the following setting

Open paper12 copy & paste to your image and resize by  79% and place it so most of the moon in showing inside the frame hit selections invert delete move this layer under your frame Open your tube of choice copy and paste to your image  and place the part of your tube you want to keep in the marching ants and hit delete move this layer under your frame go to selection select none 
Open  element 9 and copy & paste to your image  and place it on the right side of  your frame 
Open  element 14 and copy & paste to your image resize by 74% flip horizontal and place it in the right bottom side of your mask   
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 20%) and place it on the left side on the of your  frame Add a dropshadow of choice if you want
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Open element91 copy & paste to your image and move it to the top right of your mask
Open element114 copy & paste to your image and place it at the top left side of your mask
Open elemets105 copy & paste to your image duplicate x1 and placeone on the top and one on the bottom of your image
Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize as needed and place on the left side of your image
Open element89 copy & paste to your image place across the bottom of your image
Open Element4  copy & paste to your image place across the bottom of your image
Go back to your tube layer and take your eraser tube and carefully erase any part of the tube that if below these last 2 elements


Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Open balcony copy & paste to your image resize by 81% and place it across the bottom of your mask
Open screen copy & paste to your image resize by 79% and place it on the right side of the balcony so that it covers half of the balcony
Open your tube of choice  and copy & paste to your image  flip horizontally take the face part of the tube and place it in front of the middle screen  resize as needed so the part you want to show is in the middle screen  (I resized by 59%) taking your magic wand click on your screen layer then go to your tube layer and hit delete selections select none  You should have only the part of the tube in the screen left then taking your eraser tool carefully erase the part of the tube in the black areas of the screen change the tube layer to overlay
Open stairs copy & paste to your image resize by 76% and place the bottom of your stairs on the right bottom of your balcony
Open candelabra copy & paste to your image and place it over the left part of the screen
Open table copy & paste to your image resize by 46% and place it in front of your candelabra
Open rose candle copy & paste to your image resize by 34% and place on top of your table
Open champagne copy & paste to your image flip horizontally resize by 32% and place on table next to 
rosecandle
Open key copy & paste to your image resize by 28% and hang it on the right small screen
Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized by 75%) and place on the right side end of your bench  

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Open grass1 copy & paste to your image duplicate x1 and place them across the bottom of your mask
Open bench1 copy & paste to your image and place in the bottom left corner of your grass
Open flower1 copy & paste to your image and place on the right end of your bench so that the bottom is next to the bench seat
Open bird1 copy & paste to your image resize by 43% and place on the middle top board of the bench
Open wateringcan copy & paste to your image resize by 43% and place over the bench leg on the left
Open butterfly1 copy & paste to your image resize by 43% and place beside the orange flower above the bench
Open butterfly2 copy & paste to your image resize by 43% and place in the top right corner of your mask
Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized by 112%) and place on the right side end of your bench  
Open caterpillar copy & paste to your image resize by 43% and place it in the bottom right corner of your mask so that it is climbing up your tube
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Alice Forum Set


Alice Forum Set

I used the wonderful tube called Alice by Gabi Spree which you must be licensed to use. You can

I am using a scrapkit called Alice in Wonderland by Ellanoir which is FTU and can be found  here
Mask of Choice

Plugin used was candyeye4000

Note When I resize I use these settings: (make sure that pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers is unchecked) also please save often and for placement on the tag you can always refer to the example tag if that helps.

Let's get started!!


Open a new image 600x250 & 150x200  pixels with a transparent background.  You can resize later to meet your needs.
Open paper 14 copy & paste to both images (600x250 & 150x200)
Open element22 copy & paste to both images and duplicate x2 on both
Starting on the first layer of element22 go to candyeye4000 and use HSB noise with the following setting

Repeat on your other image (150x200)
Using HSB noise on both images repeat the steps on each layer of element22 except on each layer change the random seed ( if you do not have this plugin you can use noise)
Go to you image that is 600x250
Open element25 copy & paste to your image resize by 15% and place on the right hand side of your image
Open element33 copy & paste to your image resize by 15% and place in the middle of your image
Open your tube of choice (I used the close up one) copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 48%) and place it on the right side of your image
Add a new layer go to selections select all modify select selection borders and use the following settings
Using your floodfill tool and your color of choice floodfill the border (make sure you click in the small border when you floodfill)
Selections select none 
To finish use your crop tool to crop to the size so that all layers are the same size (600x250)
Go to your other image (150x200) and copy & paste your tube of choice (I used the full tube) resize as needed (I resized by 58%) and place on the right side of your image
Add a new layer go to selections select all modify select selection borders and use the following settings
 Using your floodfill tool and your color of choice floodfill the border 
Selections select none 
To finish use your crop tool to crop to the size so that all layers are the same size (150x200)
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!
If you wish to be animated we will be usinmg the element 22 layers to do this
Open amimation shop and do the following
In PSP on you first image (600x250) closed off the duplicate layers of element22 so that only one layer is showing and click on your image and copy merged
Go to animation shop and paste as a new animation
Close of the layer of element22 you just used and open another one and copy merged
Go to animation shop right click on the image already there go to paste and paste the new one after current frame
Repeat for the remaining layer of element22
Repeat these steps on your other image (150x200)

Now right click on group layer merge merge group.
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 66%) and place the part of the tube you wish to be showing on the left side of your mask On your mask layer click with your magic wand with the following settings 

 then selections invert to to selection modify and contract by 33 selections invert again and go to your tube layer and hit delete all that should be left if the part of the tube on the mask go to your layers and make your tube layer overlay
Open grass1 and copy & paste to your image and move to the bottom left of your mask
Open  lantern1 and copy & paste to your image resize by 40% and place it in the bottom left of your mask
Open  lantern2 and copy & paste to your image and place on the right side of your tube image in the mask
Open clouds and copy & paste to your image and place on the top of your mask
Open  lanterns2 and copy & paste to your image  and place over your clouds 
Open mushrooms1 and copy & paste to your image and place it on the right bottom of your mask  
Open  jar1 and copy & paste to your image resize by 40% and place on the right end of mushrooms1 
Open  tree1 and copy & paste to your image and place it next to your jar
Open grass2 and copy & paste to your image and place it across the bottom of your image so that the corner on the left cover a small portion of lantern1
Open mushroom2 and copy & paste to your image resize by 37% and place it on the bottom of your tree
Open butterflies copy & paste to your image and place it so that the small butterfly on the left middle is on the part in your tube part of the mask
Open butterfly2 copy & paste to your image resize by 29% and place at the end of the lanterns at the top
Open frog copy & paste to your image resize by 29% and place in the grass at the bottom
Open flowers3 copy & paste to your image resize by 29% duplicate x1 and place in the grass one slightly above the other
Open flower1 copy & paste to your image resize by 29% and place it on the back side of your frog
Open fairy2 copy & paste to your image resize by 29% and  place just above your lantern in the grass
Open fairy3 copy & paste to your image resize by 29% and place between 2 lanterns at the top
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 20%) and place it on the right side on the of your image in front of the mushrooms
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!
