Spring Beauty - PTU

Spring Beauty
I used the wonderful artwork by Jasmine Becket-Griffith which you must be licensed to use. You can purchase this tube from CDO which can be found here 
I am using a awesome scrapkit called Soft Whispers which is PTU by Creative Crazy Scraps and can be found at CDO here 
Font of Choice 
Mask of Choice I used Weescotlass WSL364 which can be found here
The tut was written in Paint Shop Pro X4 but should work in others.

Note When I resize I use these settings: (make sure that pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers is unchecked) also please save often and for placement on the tag you can always refer to the example tag if that helps.

Let's get started!!


Open a new image 800 X 800 pixels with a transparent background.  You can resize later to meet your needs. I resize at the end by 75% to get a 600 X 600 tag
Copy & paste paper10 from the scrapkit onto your new image and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load) In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer merge merge group.
Open 4 copy & paste to your image and place in the middle left of the mask
Open 5 copy & paste to your image and place on top of 4
Open 14 copy & paste to your image duplicate x2  and place them across the bottom of your mask
Open 32 copy & paste to your image and place just above the flower on the right side of the mask
Open framepng29 copy & paste to your image Take your magic wand with the following setting and click inside your frame Then go to selections expand and expand with the following settings  Copy and paste paper8 on top of your frame and them go to selections invert then hit delete move this paper layer below your frame do not deselect  Open your tube and copy & paste to your image resize as needed  and place it inside your frame and position the tube so that the part you want to show is inside the frame then hit delete do to selection select none Go back to your tube layer in the frame and change the blend mode to multiply
Open 38 copy & paste to your image and place on the left top of your frame
Open bowl copy & paste to your image resize by 40% and place on the left side of the basket
Open 26 copy & paste to your image and place below your frame on the flowers
Open 19 copy & paste to your image resize by 79% and place on the right side of your frame just above the lime slice
Open 40 copy & paste to your image resize by 79% and place across the top of your image
Open 1 copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place on the left side of your image just above the last flower
Open 27 copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place just below the last part of your wordart
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed and place in the bottom right of your image
Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube, frame, butterfly or anything you would like to!

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Dark Mood - PTU

In a Dark Mood

Copy & paste paper6 from the scrapkit onto your new image and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load) In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layermerge merge group.
Open 21 copy & paste to your image 
Open 22 copy & paste to your image resize 75% x2  and place on in the bottom of your gravestone
Open 86 copy & paste to your image and place on the left side of your mask slightly to the left from the middle
Open 36 copy & paste to your image and place in the bottom left corner of your mask
Open 26 copy & paste to your image and place to the right of the red vine
Open 27 copy & paste to your image and place next to the red ones
Open 28 copy & paste to your image resize by 75% and place at the top of your gravestone
Open 38 copy & paste to your image resize by 28% and place in the bottom right corner of your mask
Open 47 copy & paste to your image resize by 28% and place on the right side of the box where the hinge is
Open  65 copy & paste to your image resize by 75% and placeon the right side of your gravestone
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed and place on top of your door to the left of the box
Open 42 copy & paste to your image resize by 36% and in the middle of the skulls
Open 39 copy & paste to your image resize by 24% and place on top of the middle skull
Open 23 copy & paste to your image resize by 75%  and place above the gravestone
Open 48 copy & paste to your image resize by 24% and place in the middle of your dark cloud  Go to effects Candy eye4 Gradient Glow and apply the following settings

Open 1 copy & paste to your image resize by 36% and place on the left end of the dark cloud and apply gradient glow with the same settings as above
Open 2 copy & paste to your image resize by 36% and place on the right end of the dark cloud  and apply gradient glow with the same settings

Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube  or anything you would like to!

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Open cloud copy & paste to your image and place at the top of your mask in the middle
Open grass copy & paste to your image duplicate x3 and place on in the bottom left corner of your mask and them place the rest beside each other across the bottom with each one slightly higher than the other
Open flower2 copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom of your mask slightly to the left from the middle
Open flower3 copy & paste to your image and place to the left of flower2
Open flower5 copy & paste to your image and place to the right of the cloud
Open fence copy & paste to your image and place on top of the flower2
Open berrybranch copy & paste to your image and place the berries on the top of your fence
Open branch copy & paste to your image and place in the top left corner of your mask
Open frame1 copy & paste to your image and place in the top left corner of your image Take your magic wand with the following settings

 and click inside your frame Then go to selections expand and expand with the following settings

  Copy and paste pape8 on top of your frame and them go to selections invert then hit delete move this paper layer below your frame do not deselect  Open your tube and copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 55%) and place it inside your frame and position so that the part of the tube your want to show is inside the frame opening then hit delete then selections select none Change the blend mode on your tube layer to darken
Open door copy & paste to your image and place to the right of your frame
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized 55%) and place on top of your door
Open fountain copy & paste to your image resize by 55% and place at the bottom of your tube
Open berry 2 copy & paste to your image and place on the right side of your fountain
Open birdcage copy & paste to your image and place on the left bottom corner of your image
Open frog2 copy & paste to your image resize by 60% and place between birdcage & fence
Open bluejay1 copy & paste to your image and place on top of the birdcage
Open bluejay2 copy & paste to your image and place on the left top of the fountain
Open bluejay3 copy & paste to your image and place in the crock where the door and frame meet

Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube  or anything you would like to!

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Open frame1 copy & paste to your image Take your magic wand with the following setting and click inside your frame Then go to selections expand and expand with the following settings  Copy and paste paper5 on top of your frame and them go to selections invert then hit delete move this paper layer below your frame do not deselect  Open your tube and copy & paste to your image resize as needed  and place it under your frame so that the part of the tube you want to show if in the circle then hit delete selections select none
Open bunny ears copy & paste to your image resize by 80% and place on the top part of your frame
Open element22 copy & paste to your image and place across the bottom of your image
Open element 5 copy & paste to your image resize by 26% and place just below the curve of the ribbon
Open element6 copy & paste to your image resize by 26% free rotate by 90 degrees and place to the left of the first egg
Open element7 copy & paste to your image resize by 26% free rotate by 50 degrees and place in the middle of the two egg
Now merge all layers visible and apply the following setting in xero porcelain
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed and place on the bottom left of your image
Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube or anything you would like to!

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!

Open handheldgame3 copy & paste to your image and place just below your star slightly to the left
Open your tube of choice and resize as needed to fit the screen of the game (I resized 27%  duplicate x4 (you will use the duplicates as we go along) close off all but 2 and place one each in the screens of handheldgame3 take your magic wand with the following setting

 and click on the screen of the game go to selections invert then highlight your tube layer and hit delete repeat for the other screen on the bottom screen tube layer change the blend to lighten as shown below

Open arcade2 copy & paste to your image and place on the top right corner of your mask take one of your tube layers you have left and position in over your screen flip it horizonal and follow the same steps for the screens above Change the tube layer blend to overlay
Open outlet copy & paste to your image and move it slightly to the right
Open handheldgame1 copy & paste to your image and place just below the bottom plug of your outlet Then take a copy of your tube your have and follow the same directions as above making sure the tube is on the left side of the screen Change the blend mode to darken
Open handheldgame2 copy & paste to your image and follow the same as above with a tube copy but make sure the tube is on the right of the screen change the blend mode to hard light
Open socks copy & paste to your image and place between the bottom 2 handheldgames
Open shoe copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom part of the socks
Open tv copy & paste to your image and place on the left in the middle
Open tag copy & paste to your imageresize by 48% and place on the left side of the tv in the screen area
Open skull copy & paste to your image  and place on the right side of the tv screen
Open ribbon copy & paste to your image and place across the bottom of your image
Open WA copy & paste to your image and place across the top of your image
Open brad1 copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom left corner of the mask
Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed and place in in the middle of your image
Open kiss copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom of your tube
Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube  or anything you would like to!
