My First Tut - Back to School FTU

Back to School 

This tut was created in Corel Paintshop Pro X4
Plugins used:  none

I used the wonderful artwork of Francis Mary which

you must be licensed to use. I purchased at Cloud9Ink but

unfortunately her tubes are not available at this time but you can
use your own tube of choice.  I will update when they are available again

I am using a ftu scrapkit called School Time 

that you can find on my blog here.

Font of Choice (I used Comic Sans)

Mask of Choice (I used WSL 241) Her masks are Here

Let's get started!!

Open a new image 600 X 600 pixels with a transparent background. 

Copy & paste paper 1 from the scrapkit 

onto your new image and apply your mask

of choice. (Click layers, load save mask,

make sure fit to canvas, source luminance 

and hide all mask is checked then click load)

In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer 

yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer

merge merge group.

Go back to your scrapkit and open chalkboard, copy &

paste onto your new image, resize by 74% (make sure that

pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting

it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers

is unchecked) click ok  

Position the chalkboard in the upper corner of the tag 

(You can always refer to the example tag for

positioning) 

Open the flower in the scrapkit and resize by 70% and position it at the 

bottom of the mask.

Open the orange crayon and copy and paste onto your tag and position it 

on the right side of the mask.

Open the star cluster in the scrapkit and copy & paste onto

you tag. Postion by the bottom right corner of the chalkboard

Open the camera in the scrapkit and copy & paste onto your tag

Resize by 50% and position by the left corner of the chalkboard.

Open the wordart  copy & paste to your tag and position it on the 

right side of the tag

Open the backpack in the scrapkit and copy & paste onto your tag.

Resize by 50% and position it on the right side bottom of your mask

Open the lunchbox in the scrapkit and paste onto your tag resize by 30% 

and position it by your backpack.

Open your tube of choice copy and paste to your tag, resize for best fit 

and position it to your liking!! I added a dropshadow to my tube 

and wordart 

(effects-3D effects-settings vert1 horz-1 opacity 45 blur5 color black) 

Add your copyrite into, name on the tag and you are finished!! 

Save your pspimage where you would like and save your tag as a png, gif or jpeg

I always save as a png but you can choose.

I put the name on the chalkboard but you can put it whereever you would like to.
