I used the wonderful artwork by Anna Liwanag called Diary which you must be licensed to use. You can purchase this tube from CDO which can now be found here
I am using a beautiful scrapkit called Shades of Winter which is PTU by Gimptastic Scraps and can be found at CDO here
Font of Choice
Mask of Choice I used WSL223 which can be found here
The tut was written in Paint Shop Pro X4 but should work in others.
Note When I resize I use these settings: (make sure that pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers is unchecked) also please save often and for placement on the tag you can always refer to the example tag if that helps.
Let's get started!!
Open a new image 800 X 800 pixels with a transparent background. You can resize later to meet your needs.
Copy & paste paper9 from the scrapkit onto your new image and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load)
In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer merge merge group.
Open ele9 copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom right side of your mask
Open ele24 copy & paste to your image and place on the top right of your mask
Open ele5 and copy & paste to your image and place on the middle of the other set of leaves
Open ele4 copy & paste to your image and place it on the bottom left of your mask
Open ele39 copy & paste to your image and place so that the star is in the middle of the leaves at the top right of your mask
Open ele52 copy & paste to your image
Open ele54 copy & paste to your image and place in the middle on the right side of your tree
Open ele41 copy & paste to your image and place on the candy cane
Open ele31 copy & paste to your image resize by 45% and place at the bottom of the candy cane
Open ele2 copy & paste to your image and place on top of the boxes
Open ele8 copy & paste to your image and place next to ele2 covering half of ele2
Open ele17 copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom of the boxes
Open frame1 copy & paste to your image Take your magic wand and click inside with the following setting and then go to selections modify expand with the following setting
Open paper10 copy & paste to your image and go to selection invert then hit delete (do not deselect)
Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize as needed and place the part you want to show in the frame then hit delete go to selection select none Change the blend mode to multiply duplicate x1
Open your tube of choice and place across the bottom of the frame
Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube frame or anything you would like to!
Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!
