Steampunk Christmas

I used the wonderful poser called Samanatha by Designs by Norella which you must be licensed to use. 

You can purchase her tubes from PicsForDesign which can now be found here

I am using a scrapkit called A Streamy Christmas by Scrappin with Lil Ole Me which was part of a Chistmas Bundle 2010  is PTU  and can be purchased at Tiny Turtle Designs here.

Font of Choice  

Mask of Choice I used AquaRebel315 mask 075  these masks are Here 

The tut was written in Paint Shop Pro X4 but should work in others.

Note When I resize I use these settings: (make sure that

pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting

it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers is unchecked) also please save often and 

for placement on the tag you can always refer to the example tag if that helps.

Let's get started!!

Open a new image 800 X 800 pixels with a transparent background.  You can resize later to meet your 

needs. Copy & paste paper 11 from the scrapkit onto your new image and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load) In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layermerge merge group.   

Open snowflake1 and copy & paste to your image and move it slightly to the right so that it is slightly off the 

mask

Open snowflake4 copy & paste to your image and place on the left top on your mask

Open cog2 copy & paste to your image resize by 34%  and place on the righthand top on your mask

Open cog4 copy & paste to your image  resize by 34% and place it beside cog2

Open frame3 copy & paste to your image  resize by 61% and place it in the right top of your mask so that 

some of snowflake4 shows above it (see tag)

Open paper 9 copy & paste to your image and move this layer below your frame Taking your magic wand 

using the following setting 

click in the middle of your frame and click selections expand selections using the 

following settings 

 click selections invert highlight your paper layer and hit delete on your keyboard so that 

only the part of the paper inside the frame remains  

Open your tube of choice copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized by 61%) and position the 

face part of your tube in the center of the frame move this layer below the frame.Taking your magic wand 

using the same setting click in the middle of your frame and click selections expand selections using the 

same setting as above  click selections invert highlight your tube layer and hit delete on your keyboard so 

that only the part of the tube inside the frame remains Change this layer to Darken

Open candle2 copy & paste to your image and resize by 46% and place on the lefthand side of your mask  

just below the frame 

Open tree1 copy & paste to your image and resize by 76% and place on the right side of your frame  

Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize by 20% (or size needed)  and place her in 

front of the tree

Open ornament3 copy & paste to your image resize by 20%  and place on one of the branches of your tree

Open ornament2 copy & paste to your image resize by 20%  and place on one of the branches of your tree

Add your copyrites and name of choice  resize the image to your liking and you are finished!!
