Queen of the Night PTU

Queen of the Night
I used the wonderful artwork called Queen of the Night by Eos Sparks which you must be licensed to use. You can purchase this tube from The PSP Project  which can now be found here  
I am using a beautiful scrapkit called Queen of the Night which is PTU by Gimptastic Scraps and can be found at The PSP Project here  
Font of Choice  
Mask of Choice I used WeeScotslass WSL116 which can be found here
The tut was written in Paint Shop Pro X4 but should work in others.

Note When I resize I use these settings: (make sure that pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers is unchecked) also please save often and for placement on the tag you can always refer to the example tag if that helps.

Let's get started!!


Open a new image 800 X 800 pixels with a transparent background.  You can resize later to meet your needs.
Copy & paste paper8 from the scrapkit onto your new image resize by 150% and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load)
In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer
merge merge group. 
Open lanterns copy & paste to your image and place on the left side of your mask at the top
Open feather1 copy & paste to your image duplicate x1 and place 1 at the right  top of your mask and the other just below it on the right
Open frame6 copy & paste to your image go to image free rotate and rotate the image to the right by 15 and move it up on your image so that the point of the frame in on the left side of the first feather Open paper5 copy & paste to your image and free rotate the same way as the frame adjust the paper so that the part you want inside the frame is showing and move this layer below your frame Take your magic wand and click inside with the following setting and then go to selections modify expand with the following setting and go to selection invert then hit delete (do not deselect)
Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize as needed and place the part you want to show in the frame then hit delete go to selection select none
Open rose copy & paste to your image duplicate x3 and place them going up from the bottom left of your frame to the top of your mask moving each one slightly to the left
Open vase copy & paste to your image and place in the bottom right of your mask
Open scroll copy & paste to your image and place in on the bottom of your mask with the right side ending in the middle of your vase
Open lanterns copy & paste to your image and place so that the left most lantern in at the bottom left corner of the frame
Open candles copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom right side on your mask
Open books copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom left of your mask
Open flower2 copy & paste to your image free rotate the same way as above and place on the bottom of your frame
Open cat copy & paste to your image and place in the middle of your scroll
Open crow copy & paste to your image and place on the right of your cat
Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized by 80%) and place on the left side of your mask
Add a dropshadow of choice to your tube frame or anything you would like to!

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!
