Mermaids World FTU

Mermaid's World
This tut was created in Corel Paintshop Pro X4
Plugins used  none
I used the wonderful artwork of Carlos Cartagena which
you must be licensed to use. I purchased from PTE but his 
tubes can now be found at Artistically Inclined Licensing
I am using a ftu scrapkit called Siren of The Sea 
that you can find on Kittz Kreationz blog here.
Font of Choice (I used A Year Without Rain)
Mask of Choice (I used WSL128) Her masks are Here


Let's get started!!


Open a new image 600 X 600 pixels with a transparent background. 
Copy & paste SS-P5.png from the scrapkit 
onto your new image and apply your mask
of choice. (Click layers, load save mask,
make sure fit to canvas, source luminance 
and hide all mask is checked then click load)
In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer 
yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer
merge merge group. Resize the mask by 121% (make sure that
pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting
it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers
is unchecked) click ok 


Go back to your scrapkit and open Frame SS-10, copy &
paste onto your new image.
Now grab your magic wand set on Mode-add shift match mode-RGB Value
anti alias checked and click inside the frame make sure to click in 
the small areas also Copy & paste SS-P4 onto your tag and resize by 60%
go to selection invert (make sure this layer is highlighted on layers) 
and hit delete move this layer below your frame hit selections select 
none
Open SS-23 and paste to tag resize by 50% and position inside of your
frame in the left hand corner
(You can always refer to the example tag for positioning) 
Open SS-6a and post on tag resize by 50% and position under the frame on the right
hand side
Open SS-28 and post on tag resize by 32% and position on the coral
Open SS-41 and post on tag resize by 32% and position on the water
Open SS-43 word art and resize by 70% and position at the top of the frame
Open your tube of choice copy and paste to your tag, resize for best fit 
and position it to your liking!! I added a dropshadow to my tube 
and wordart 
(effects-3D effects-settings vert1 horz-1 opacity 45 blur5 color black) 
Add your copyrite into, name on the tag and you are finished!! 
Save your pspimage where you would like and save your tag as a png, gif or jpeg
I always save as a png but you can choose.
I put the name on the chalkboard but you can put it whereever you would like to.
