Girls Like Pretty Things

I used the wonderful artwork called Vanessa by Tamadaya which you must be licensed to use. You can purchase her tubes from The PSP Project which can now be found here

I am using a scrapkit called Girls Like Pretty Things which is FTU by Pam's Scraps & More and can be found here  

Font of Choice  

Mask of Choice  I used Vix Big Mask16

 The tut was written in Paint Shop Pro X4 but should work in others.

Note When I resize I use these settings: (make sure that pixel dimensions is on percent and in advanced setting it is smart size lock aspect ratio is checked and resize all layers is unchecked) also please save often and for placement on the tag you can always refer to the example tag if that helps.

Let's get started!!

Open a new image 800 X 800 pixels with a transparent background.  You can resize later to meet your needs.

Copy & paste paper 5 from the scrapkit onto your new image and apply your mask of choice. (Click layers, load save mask, make sure fit to canvas, source luminance and hide all mask is checked then click load)

In layers right click on mask hit delete and answer yes to the popup. Now right click on group layer merge merge group.  

Open rose3 and copy & paste to your image and place it at the top left of your mask.

Open flower11 copy & paste to your image and place on the bottom left on your mask

Open flower10 copy & paste to your image and move it to the top right of your mask (some of it will be off the mask)

Open flower6 copy & paste to your image and place it beside flower 10 (to the left)

Open lollipop copy & paste to your image and place it so that the pop covers part of the purple and yellow flower on the left

Open heartpop copy & paste to your image and place it next to the lollipop

Open bookframe and copy & paste to your image  Open your tube of choice copy and paste to your image flip horizontal  Now take your magic wand using the following settings 

and click inside of your frame you 

made expand your selections with the following setting

 open paper 9 copy & paste to your image and hit 

selections invert delete move this layer under your frame  Now take your tube of choice and place the part of your tube you want to keep in the marching ants and hit delete move this layer under your frame go to selection select none  On the tube layer change the blend mode to screen

Open doodles copy & paste to your image resize by 68% and place the staple part in the middle top of your bookframe

Open your tube of choice and copy & paste to your image resize as needed (I resized by 73%) and place on the left side of your bookframe

Open butterfly2 copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place up in the corner on your blue flowers

Open rose copy & paste to your image and place it across the bottom of your tube

Open rose2 copy & paste to your image and place it across the bottom of your tube just slightly to the right of your first rose

Open rose3 copy & paste to your image and place it across the bottom of your tube just slightly to the right of your second rose

Open candle2 copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place it almost to the end of your layered roses

Open sunglasses copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place in front of your candle 

Open flower7 copy & paste to your image and place on the right side of yourframe

Open purse2 copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place on the left side of your flower7

Open lipstick copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place to the right of your purse

Open nailpolish  copy & paste to your image resize by 50% and place beside your lipstick

Add your copyrights and name of choice and you are finished!!
